Leading the team at IFP Construction and taking on the role of operations manager is Matt Sparrow, who brings over 18 years of construction experience. Previous clients include such as Nestle, Samworth Brothers and Whitbread.
Focusing on delivering construction projects for the food and drink industry’s biggest and most successful businesses, IFP Construction currently works alongside existing IFP Group clients, and will look to market itself to a new client-base thanks to major investment from the Group with the launch of a new website and marketing strategy.
Newly appointed operations manager, Matt Sparrow commented on the launch: “Our goal is to make IFP Construction the go-to food and drink construction business, building on the successful delivery of recent construction projects including Haydens Bakery and Wealmoor – both delivering considerable return on investments for the companies.
“In this new role I’ll be developing the business to deliver projects in a much quicker timeframe than traditional construction processes due to our tailored contractual offerings.
“We’re preparing ourselves for a surge in new business this year, and this will be an exciting time that we are keen to grasp with both hands. We have rapid growth plans to increase turnover threefold in the next three years, initially concentrating on the UK as a primary market before working further afield in the future.
“Within the last year as a group we have seen a massive change in how we are eating as a nation. The rise of plant based diets and clients requirements for manufacture are needing to change to keep up with demand. As a group we understand process and have the ability, skills and knowledge to deliver fully functioning facilities, this may be conversion or segregation of existing food facilities or the conversion of existing building to suit the need.”
